Many people were not satisfy with the way their laptop battery just drain away within blinking of an eyes..

HERE ARE SOME TIPS I PERSONALLY USE FOR MY LAPTOP ;

1. POWER PLAN : Using POWER SAVER as the power plan gives a significant boost to battery life and You can change your power plan by clicking on the battery meter icon in the right task bar on your desktop and select power saver in the options.

2. MAINTENANCE : The following maintenance will helps you in preserving your laptop battery;

- Avoid extreme heat getting close to your laptop battery and also raise your laptop above surface ground or table depends if your processor cooler id near to your battery because it will later generate heat to the battery and will reduce its lifetime.
- Avoid over charging , what I mean is that if working on your system and the battery meter reads that is 100% fully charged, unplug the ac power cord to save your battery life.
- Maintain your display dim, because the higher the brightness, the higher the power consumption and vice-versa.
- Reduce your system usage by; removing unused device plugged to the system and closing programs you are no more using.
- Avoid Shutting down your system every time instead , u can use hibernate mode , I only shutdown my system thrice a month but more if my system require to be restart .

3. CARES : To extend your battery life,

- Only clean the battery with dry cloth most especially the battery connector
- Avoid battery removal and replacing regularly.

EASIEST WAY TO TAKE SCREENSHOT ON PC

As you all know that there are many pc software to take a screenshot on pc but today am dropping the easiest method without worrying to download any software again. Taking screenshot is an amazing things because I can remember those awkward moment when I want to share an amazing things on screen to my Social Network friends, instead of taking the screenshot, I will now look around for a good camera either a sharp mobile phone camera or a digital camera and will snap and later edit to my taste which takes as long as 30mins before am through with all, consider with just a click method I want to share with you now …it sounds funny? Lol.

HOW TO TAKE SCREENSHOT ON PC;

To do this, you will need only any Image Editing Software like Picasa , Photoshop , PhotoScape and the likes AND you can as well use the default Image editor that comes with system PAINT .
When you now want to take a screen shot of a screen or web page, just hit your Prt SC button at the top by the right on your keyboard..
Now open any image editor you know very well and press CTRL V …
You will now see the Screenshot you takes, you can now edit to your taste…
Lastly…Guess what? Just click on the SAVE button or press CTRL S on your keyboard AND YOU ARE GOOD TO GO !!!

HOW TO PARTITION YOUR COMPUTER HARD DISK

Partition is the situation where computer hard disk is being divided into different volumes. Partition is like dividing a classroom into two or three classes.

REASON WHY YOU NEED TO PARTITION YOUR SYSTEM

There are many reason for partitioning a system :

• You can partition a system to make the new volume to back up your files to avoid loss of files.

• Partitioning a system helps in case your system crash where formatting may be the only solution to it, but if u have partitioned your system, you can format only the local disk and leave the volume where you kept all your vital files that you can`t avoid to lose.

• We partition system at times to install new operating system alongside our everyday window like window 7, where u can install new users friendly window “Window Xp” Or you can decide to install professional window like Ubuntu Or Linux.

Let now get to business…

HOW TO PARTITION A SYSTEM

There are two common ways to partition a hard disk ; (1) The first method is carry out the first time when you are installing a new operating system which will in one step ask if you want to partition the disk… (2) For the second method, let assume you have already install your window but due to lack of idea about the partition you ignore it, you can as well partition your system after the window installation:

• Open the run dialog box by pressing “window key + R” on your desktop, which will bring a dialog box, then put “diskmgmt.msc” in the provided box and press “enter”.
• Right-Click on the hard disk you want to partition which is the LOCAL DISK (C).
• You can now select “shrink volume” from the menu and the utility will begin to query the hard disk for the available shrink volume but this will take some few seconds
• After which you will click on shrink and follow the instructions that follows
• After shrinking, you will see the disk space as the unallocated , right click on this and select from the menu “New Simple Volume” follow by next and you will reach a stage where you will format the new volume if you want to save your file there but you can as well choose not to format if you want to use the new partition for another Operating System
• Lastly, press finish to create the new partition and that’s all.
